Pan Portable Gramophone
Imagine the enjoyment in 1930 of waking up in the morning to your favorite record, instead of the usual 'bell' alarm clock! The Peter Pan Alarm Clock Gramophone is an easy device to use and enjoy. By winding the alarm clock and motor than setting alarm to desired wake-up time and setting needle on the first record groove, the Gramophone would start playing the record.
Here is an extremely rare Peter Pan Alarm Clock Phonograph in perfect working condition. Everything is original and it works. This wonderful old Gramophone is circa 1930, made in England with the alarm patented in France with a Swiss motor and diaphragm. Clock had a twelve-hour span with hours, half hours and quarters corresponding to 48 position.
Info on Gramophone reads; "PETER PAN GRAMOPHONE PATENT NOS 15825/23-705313 and ADD.WORLDS PATENT PENDING". These miniature talking machines were, when closed, designed to resemble box cameras and are also known as Cameraphones. We have provided pictures of both styles, one with and one without the alarm clock. If you have any more information or pictures of the Peter Pan Gramophone please send them here!
