Victor VI(6)
Victrola VI (6):These machines were introduced in the later months of 1911 and instantly became a hit for the Victor Talking Machine Company. They were very similar to it's predecessor, the Victrola IV, except being a little larger. The main differences were the larger cabinet and the extra main spring added to the motor. With the two-spring motor, the customers became able to play a couple of more records per wind than they could with the one-spring motor that was in the Victrola IV. This machine is dated between 1918 and 1926. In 1918, the Victor Company changed the cabinet design of the VV-VI for a 3rd time in order to contain a removeable motorboard as can be seen in the pictures. Now, you'd be able to open the machine and look at the motor without having to open the entire top. Click on the picture to see a larger version. #DL17vvvi1 - Price: Sold

Silvertone Phonograph
The Silvertone phonograph was sold under the label by the Sears & Roebuck company. This beautiful oak phonograph would be estimated to be dated late teens around 1918. This is evident by no Pathé or Diamond Disc attachment or a display plate for them. There's no volume control on the machine so it was left up to the type of needles that were used. If the owner wanted to make it quieter, they would use a softer tone needle and then they would use a louder tone needle if they wanted more volume. This phonograph has been fully serviced just like all the others we have for sale. If you have any questions about this machine, feel free to check with us and we'd be happy to help out. Silvertone Phonograph
Here's another made by the Sears Silvertone Company. Unlike the other phonograph we have, this one has a lid to protect it's metal hardware. Another nice feature of this phonograph is the original "Silvertone Coin" located on the backside of the lid behind the tonearm. This machine is in great shape and the beautiful oak cabinet will compliment any room. Click on each picture to see a larger version. #DL17silvertone3 - Price: $485.00

US Army Portable Phonograph: This phonograph would make a great addition to any collection. This phonograph would have been issued to soldiers during WWII so that they could listen to their favorite 78 rpm records while stationed away from home. The cabinet is very solid and in great shape. Everything on the machine is original: turntable covering, crank, reproducer, and tonearm. The crank was chained to the side of the cabinet so that it wouldn't get lost and their are also flaps inside the escutcheon so that mud and/or dirt wouldn't get inside on the motor. Inside the lid are the original instructions on how to use it. This portable phonograph winds up and plays great. The cabinet measures 16-3/4"L by 15-1/4"W by 7-1/2"H when closed. #DL17army3 - Price: Sold
