Morning Glory Horn This is an exceptional Edison Home Phonograph from our personal collection! This beautiful cylinder phonograph with oak case is in perfect working condition. The serial number on the base plate is #276969, with the last patent date being May 22nd, 1906. It has the original model H four minute reproducer, and has an all original oak dovetail case with bail handle. The original crane (horn support) fits under the front edge of the case to hold up the blue morning glory horn. The original Edison label is on top of the horn just in front of the ring to attach the horn to the crane (see picture). The blue morning glory horn is in very good condition including the paint. It has only a few minor dings and dents. The motor has been reconditioned, oiled, has new belts and runs great! |

Amberola
30
The Edison company made cylinder phonographs since the late 1800's. It wasn't until 1909/1910 that the Amberola phonograph was created. It was a machine capable of playing 4 minute cylinders but with an internal horn. The Amberola 30 was introduced in 1915 and was the smallest of the internal horned Amberolas. The Amberola 30 was equipped with a diamond model C reproducer, one spring motor, and a metal front grill (painted with a wood grain finish). This beautiful oak machine sounds and plays great. #DL17edamb01 - Price: $575.00 For sale by: Victrola Repair Service |

Edison
Home Phonograph circa 1898
This is an Edison Home Model A, early style, phonograph, also called the suitcase Home model. It was one of the first phonographs for home use, introduced for sale originally in December, 1896. The most recent patent date on this machine is May 31, 1898. It plays only two minute cylinders, as four minute cylinders would not be invented until several years later. To my knowledge, everything is original, except for a drive belt, which has been replaced, and the horn, which is a reproduction. A model C reproducer is included. It is all in good condition, and works fine. The quarter sawn oak case is in very good condition, with its original finish and decal on the cover. All metal parts are in good condition, with no rust or pitting. Gold finish decals on the metal are in fairly good to good condition. This is in original condition and has not been restored. The phonograph was given a clean bill of health by the technicians at Victrola Repair Service, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, where it was purchased by this owner several years ago. #DLth009 Price $900.
